MicroGDS 2010 EL
Introduction
MicroGDS 2010 EL (Entry Level) is we believe the most function-rich 2D CAD solution on the market, bar none. Even with its extremely low price-point, it still offers full multi-user capabilities, concurrent network licencing, secure multi-discipline inter-communication, and local and remote project status monitoring. Add to this its integration with corporate standard applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc which are beautifully engineered through a comprehensive implementation of the MDI (Microsoft Document Imaging) technology, MicroGDS 2010 EL provides users with yet another piece of incredibly powerful and extremely productive functionality. Another unique feature of MicroGDS 2010 EL (and MicroGDS 2010 C) is the MicroGDS Application Development Kit. This .NET Class Library describes the heart of MicroGDS, and provides our customers with an unparalleled ability to both customise their existing CAD environments, and to address new software solutions at previously untouched business processes.
A small sample of MicroGDS 2010 EL standard operational features
2D Draughting Tools - MicroGDS includes a comprehensive set of 2D draughting and detailing tool sets to provide fast and efficient drawings with high quality presentation both on screen and in print. Using standard primitive objects such as Lines, Arcs, Circles and Ellipses it is fast and easy to develop both simple and complex graphical drawings. Enhanced drawing edit and production tools allow the user to move, copy, rotate and stretch primitive objects and with features such as AutoSnap and SnapGuides to provide accurate location and positioning of objects the user may quickly locate insertion points without having to construct addition construction lines. Users can easily Group Objects together in Assemblies for ease of repetition within a drawing. Similarly, assemblies may be created or dissolved as required to allow editing of the individual assembly components. Object libraries store standardisation of objects which may then be for inserted within multiple drawings. Enhanced attribute data links attached to library objects allow for powerful scheduling and data transfer to external database or spreadsheets.
User Interface - The user interface is fully customisable to allow the user to View or Hide, re-position or edit toolbars as required.
Working with Dimensions - MicroGDS offers a numbers of commands for constructing dimensions with a choice of dimension styles easily selected and applied. Flexible dimension property settings allow easy preference setting and editing of dimension styles.
Calculated Length and Area Information - MicroGDS will display the enclosed area or perimeter length of a primitive object or total area of a library object. This can be incorporated into attribute mnemonics to allow the user to extract this information to a schedule.
Using linestyles - MicroGDS has the best linestyle definition systems available in a CAD package. Offering a combination of linestyles with imbedded objects allows you to define the most complex looking linestyles imaginable. Linestyle definitions incorporate characteristics such as the line thickness, fill attributes, and offset pattern.
