- Working Within Layers - This function allows the project owner to set the parameters for each user within the project. Therefore you allow the electrical team to work on the wiring and lighting layers, the structural engineers to work on the structural layer and the HVAC team to work their layer. Each user will have visibility of the other layers, but will not be able to amend or change anything on them. As all of you are accessing the same project database therefore any changes that you make to the core drawing will be replicated to all users e.g. moving a wall will be updated on all of the other layers once refreshed.
- Ease of Use - MicroGDS is an easy to learn product, packed with features which will ensure that you can create and edit your work quickly and reliably. Full support for Windows Multiple Document Interface (MDI) means that you can open as many drawings and projects at the same time as you need, and freely copy between them using the standard Windows short-cuts or at the click of your mouse.
- Microsoft Office Integration - By integrating with all Microsoft Office products MicroGDS enables you to link quotes from external suppliers to the project, embed proposals that you have sent to your client and managed the entire project from one central repository.
- WYSIWYG - This functionality delivers the accuracy required for complex designs and reduces the number of corrections and amendments as you draw, enabling the creation of the final output on screen, working with thickened lines and fills.
